Dawood Sarkhosh is an Afghan musician, singer and songwriter who was born on July 6, 1981, in Kabul, Afghanistan. He belongs to the Hazara ethnic group and is well-known for his soulful and emotional music. He started singing at a young age and was inspired by the traditional Hazara music of his ancestors.
Sarkhosh gained popularity in Afghanistan during the early 2000s with his hit songs such as "Laila", "Jawanmardi", and "Mehman-e-Man". He has released several albums in his career, including "Beltoon" and "Az Noor-o Nay".
In addition to his music career, Sarkhosh has also worked as a TV presenter and hosted a popular music show on Afghan national television. He is also known for his humanitarian work and has organized several benefit concerts to support Afghan refugees and victims of war.
Sarkhosh currently lives in Germany, where he continues to make music and promote Afghan culture through his art.
